Our Beloved Home is sold

When the spirit tells you it’s time to sell your family home of 32 years you say what?!?   Then you wrestle. Pray some more. Tell God he’s mistaken. Tell God we are comfortable staying here.  Tell yourself that the plan was to live and die in this home.

And then when the message keeps coming back to move on, you finally listen and place it all in His hands.

This spring was full of service opportunities and obligations that would make it seem we were to stay in our home. We had Rosalinda here at the beginning of April. And knew she would be here til the end of June. And I was called as camp director --and I wondered if I should turn that calling down because of our house sale. There was so much to think about.

But the spirit prevailed and we kept moving forward.

We worked frantically to get our home up for sale by the end of April. We fixed walls and painted the house trim and fixed the deck. We boxed up a lot of things and put couches, dressers, boxes of things and stuff in the Buzelli garage so our home would look more open.

I kept praying about our moving....and then the Spirit said for me to go forward with Girls' camp the beginning of June and Rosalinda would be fine staying with us because our home wasn’t going to sell till the end.  We had few and far between showings and our one and only offer came in on June 29 and we accepted on June 30.    I've shed a lot of tears. And I'm excited. 50/50

I'm putting all of our house pics here so I don't forget what our beloved home looked like.

We have no idea where we are going.   We like the idea of going somewhere where there is need... more service opportunities. Old Town Layton or Farmington or inner city Clearfield.

We are trusting in GOD. We are “all in” on this journey and we know we are going to be uncomfortable and that’s ok too.  We see God’s hand in all of this and look forward to see where we will end up.  We know we want to stay in Davis County and be close to our grandkids.

We know we always have a backup plan to be in Landon and Alex’s basement, if we need/can't find a home to move into by August. 17th.  I don’t really want to move twice, but if that’s how it works out it would be awesome to spend some Buzelli time.

I’m starting to box up rooms now..and do more DI runs.
