Busy weekend

Wayne was off to the Utah game with Monson on Thursday. We gave Monson this ticket and this trip for his upcoming 30th birthday.   They went to St. George overnight then off  to Las Vegas and the Pac 12 championship on Friday.  They had the best time!   IT’s so worth it when we WIN…which UTAH did.  The first quarter was looking bleak…then everything turned around.

It was fun to see Wayne and Monson on TV too cheering a touchdown. They all took ear plugs this year since our last year experience we all came away with hearing loss.  The noise in that enclosed stadium is outrageous.

MEANWHILE:

Elsie the Sweet turned 3– and had a Harry Potter Birthday party. Elsie loves Harry Potter and Lexi did the cutest party for her.  A Harry Potter Christmas tree with floating candles and flying snitches,  Gilly water, a candy cart, and a cake that said, “Happee Birthdae Harry”   Elsie is a doll and every present she just LOVED.  We are so grateful that Elsie is a part of us. She is so sweet.

I took Truman to Settebello’s and then to the Eccles to see Moulin Rouge the Musical for his upcoming 32nd birthday.    It was so good.  The first act is very clever full of current day pop songs much  like “Glee”— but the second act was compelling, and we really ended up loving this show.

Wayne got home from Las Vegas/St. George and we got gifted some fun Jazz Tickets.

Wayne, and I took Mark ( for his birthday) and Wanee to a Jazz Game– it was a good game, even though we lost in the last few minutes –  Wayne was gifted 4 tickets from his friend Scott Keller.  They were awesome 7th row seats and a parking pass… so that made it nice.  As we were coming down the stairs to almost the basketball court to get into our seats, Wanee kept walking and saying, are we there yet?  We just kept going.  The seats were close and great.
When Wanee's home and the Jazz are losing she turns off the tv..then turns it back on a little bit later to see how it's going. So at the game, she would just close her eyes for a bit, and then open to see how it's going. She's so cute.
At the end of the game we were able to use the elevator down by the court to get back up to the lobby– It was a lot of stairs that we were able to avoid. Wanee loves the Jazz and she was thrilled to be so close to “her boys”
