Thanksgiving weekend

Wayne and I saw 5 movie this weekend.... we started with our Littles seeing Frozen 2.

REVIEWS:  Frozen 2.  7/10. Good sequel. Interesting story.  Loved “Into the unknown”. song. I didn’t like Kirstoff’s song.  Ok ending. A bit abrupt.

Knives Out.  7/10. Interesting whodunit.  Slow start. Good twists and turns. I jumped 3 times. Lots of family fighting that was uncomfortable.

Mr. Rogers Neighborhood - 8/10. I grew up on Mr Rogers and loved him. This really showed how different and unique he was in our cookie-cutter -don’t express your feelings -world. Liked how it was filmed like his tv episodes.

Ford v Ferrari 9/10 This is everything you want in a movie - inspired by a true story, innovation, rooting for the underdog, injustice, fast cars and excellent acting. Plus get to look at Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

Midway 8/10. If you like a good historical war movie— and who doesn’t? This is for you. You know going in there are way too many historical figures to keep track of and invest in but that movie tries hard anyway.  The CGI has come so far to make the battle screens so realistic.  Satisfying.

Wayne arranged a fun weekend with us staying at the Marriott at the Gallivan Center- walking around the city like tourists and seeing movies and eating buckets of popcorn.

This picture made all my littles so jealous.... I got to see Santa Claus!

Meanwhile back at home, Laila was in charge of herself and the dog and not getting into too much snow since her car doesn't have snow tires on it.  She obeyed halfway.
 Gorgeous temple square.

We loved running into Lindsey, James and Kingston Andrus visiting from RENO.  We had missed them all week and then this worked out...what a fun surprise.
