The rain let up and we made it outside. It was cold and clear and gorgeous. The foam looked like Ice...but it was fun to walk in and scatter about. We bundled everyone up and played, ran in the foam, collected sea shells, kite flying and Tayla and ALfie wandered a bit to far out when a phantom wave over took them. ALfie ran and only got his shoes and pants wet, Tayla tried to run but the water was too strong and she went down and was covered head to toe in cold water and sand. We dusted her off, stripped her down, hosed her off and put her in the hot tub to warm up.
Poppy and Lady loved the fresh air and freedom to run around.
Wayne and his kites were a huge success.
Rock away Beach has twin sister rocks that they are noted for. IT was so majestic and gorgeous.
Then Off to TILLAMOOK and the Cheese factory. We enjoyed Grilled cheese sandwiches dipped in tomato soup. Cheese fries and especially the fried cheese curd and the fried oysters! It was interesting to see and follow the cheese process. We took home 5 gallons on tillamook icecream to enjoy later.
I'm always in a quandry when the bathrooms are posted this way. Do I use Wayne's or Melinda's? Hmmm?? I have made this mistake too many times.
Back to our Air Bnb and snuggles on the couch. A balloon party and war, games, nail painting, Hocus pocus movie- on and off rain and a gorgeous view!
