Laila and Markus are the CUTEST! We got engagement pics taken while on the family Beach vacation in April. We are busy with September wedding plans. They want to send out a casual announcement, since that's who they are. Markus is a good guy. He's a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. He and Laila are young ( 20 ) and blissfully unaware of what's ahead...but they have each other's back and are willing to jump in and do their life together. It's fun to watch Laila love another human being. She has "heart" eyes for him all the time. She is always speaking of him and calling him and checking on him and wanting to be with him....all good things.
Markus has had to be a little adult since he was in Jr. High. He's from divorced parents and was always the responsible one. He worked as a school custodian and paid some of his earnings into the family pot to make ends meet. HE's a hard worker and has great manners and ambition. We like all of this.
Markus fits in well with the Welch family...he's funny and loves to play games, he's earnest and unselfish.
