Annie at OMT

 Addison and Poppy are in Annie at OMT.  Addison is doing the show for Poppy..and never really thought of playing Daddy Warbucks, but he is enjoying the experience and even shaved his head for the part.

Poppy is the youngest one in the cast at 7 years old...although she is not the shortest one.

Opening night... Addison, Poppy, Bre, Linda Wangsgaard, Andrew, Sophia, Wayne, Me, ? McLayne Inkley, Danny, Payson and Wendy Inkley.

Addison is a great Daddy Warbucks– he has a big presence on stage and a big voice and shows a change in character from tough guy who doesn’t need anyone and calls all the shots– to a playful, caring man who wants love and connection in his life.  I got teary a couple of times.  Poppy did awesome– she is the youngest on the stage and she stayed focused and on time with the choreography…and she is having a blast! 

Wayne, Sophia, Andrew and I really enjoyed this show.  Mostly because of Addison and Poppy!

Poppy Story:  Add and Bre had put Poppy to bed and thought she was asleep, an hour later she came into their bedroom crying!  She was so sad. Her little heart was breaking. She kept saying, "Why do we have to grow up?  I love being 7 and being in this show!  Why do things have to change?  Why can't I just stay little?"  She is so sweet, and I agree sometimes.  Why do we have to grow and change?  It can be so hard.
