Back to School

 The Grandkids are back to school.... and for the most part they are so excited.

Lady and Poppy are going to Little Orchard Preschool together.  It will be fun for them.  They love being together and Lady ( who talks so well) is a fierce advocate for Poppy who is a normal 3 year old talker.  We will see if Poppy gets to talk at all with Lady around.    They will go two days a week.

Tayla is in Kindergarten...although she looks much older...and is so much taller than the rest of her class.  The mini kindergarten desks and chairs just don't cut it.  She feels like Elf in the movie being so big around all of the little people.   So her first day of school was really "weird" for her.  She hopes to have a better first day next Monday when she tries it again.

Tayla is 5 years old, She loves to play with her cousins.  Her favorite colors are ping and purple and she wants to be a Bird Sitter when she grows up-- what ever that means.  

Andrew and Sophia are doing Utah Online School again.  They did so well last year, and they like the freedom of going places and being done around 2 with NO homework.  They are both still working on their instruments with Sophia playing piano and Andrew doing the cello.

Alfie was so excited for 2nd grade. He couldn't wait to go the first day and then on the second day asked how much more school is there this year...?!?    HE is excited to learn about science.  He is a thinker and very quiet in school--he has to be drawn out, but he does enjoy running around at recess.  He's in the PALS program so he's with the same group of kids as last year.

Poppy started pre school and "bal-la-let". She is SOOO thrilled to be a ba-la-let girl.

Lady  is 3 years old, Loves her cousin Poppy and wants to be a Baker when she grows up.
