Laila is Jr. Officer

 Laila made JR. Officer.  What a relief.  There was more To Do’s for the  kids running this week…they had to make a video on  why HS is great with 3 other candidates and do a full on lunch room activity…and have interviews with old officers and the adult advisors.     Laila was pretty stressed going into Friday and the announcement.  Wayne and I felt that Laila was going to win because she gets along with all sorts of groups.  She isn’t in a clique.  Well… Friday morn Vicky Ludwig, the officer advisor pulled Laila out of class and  told her that she got the most votes and now she has to make a decision.  There is a position called Jr. tech that is a two year SBO officer  where a Jr is trained the Jr year and then runs things Sr year.  Vicki offered this to  Laila.  She was ecstatic.   And…she had to keep this a secret the rest of the day til all was announced after school.    SO now Laila is a Brave officer for two years.  YAY!!!  Laila was also told how she was the best interviewee....she presents her self so well.  Let's hope she continues these positive things as she moves on in life.
