#7 Thankful for Christmas Music

I am so thankful for Christmas music.
With the turn in the weather, it just feels right to crank up the old favorites and let the tunes fill my home.
I love how Christmas music makes me feel all cozy and warm inside.
It fills me with happy memories of my family and thoughts of my Savior.
My mom starts playing her music in October and why not?  Actually  you can catch her playing it all year round...she truly LOVES it.
Some of my favorites Christmas songs are:  Andy Williams....Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
Tab Choir...The First Noel
Mel Torme....Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire.......
Haul out the Holly from Mame
Judy Garland.....Have yourself a Merry little Christmas
Nat King Cole .......Oh Holy Night
and
Choir arrangement of  Baby What ya Gonna Be?
My one pet peeve is when people try to pass off "My favorite things" from Sound of Music as a Christmas song....what's up with that?

I have to mention one more........... Joy to the World....lipsynched by Elder Addison Welch and his companion Elder Vaki sitting in their car.....now that's an amazing Christmas rendition. CLASSIC

I have tunes filling my head, my heart and my home!
I am thankful.

I agree, what's up with "My favorite things" it is NOT a Christmas song. Love Andy Williams Christmas album!

And of course, my favorite "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer". Ha! Ha! LOVE all of those you mentioned. One of my favorites - "Mary, Did You Know?" Don't know why, maybe just because the Kenny Rogers/Wynonna Judd arrangement is perfectly in my vocal range for a LOUD sing-along when nobody is listening.
