We were without electricity for about 5 hours today. Nothing like having no power, no microwave capabilities, no computer, no lights and no heat to make me really appreciate it.
I love modern day conveniences!!!
I love power!!!
The sad part, is this is the day when I really cook. I look forward to November 11th-- every year-- as the one day when I plan and cook and sweat over the stove and oven ALL Day...so my family can sit down to a Nov. 11th Fabulous- Feast.
Oh well.
We had to go out to dinner instead.
I will try it again next year.
